Dailyn's Alien Snowmen & Fruit Kabobs
Dailyn came up with this recipe all by herself and wanted to teach cooking class to show us how to make these. This was a great recipe to get the kids involved and they had a lot of fun coming up with their own “Alien Snowman”.
Ingredients
1 banana, sliced
Natural peanut butter
Strawberries
Dried cranberries, cherries or raisins
Pineapple chunks
6 long wooden skewers
9 toothpicks
6 mini marshmallows
Instructions
Slide 3 banana slices on the skewer to form a snowman.
Dab a bit of peanut butter on the back of the raisins and arrange like buttons on the middle banana slice.
Next cut the bottom tip of the strawberry to use for the nose. Dab a bit of peanut butter on the bottom of it and place in center of the top (head) banana slice. Take two small dried cranberries and again dab peanut butter and place above strawberry to form the eyes.
Take two toothpicks and poke into the top of the “head” at angles and place a marshmallow on the end of each toothpick. Then take a third toothpick and poke it into each marshmallow so they are
connected.
With the remaining strawberries and pineapple alternate on a separate skewer for fruit kabobs.
